As a Wax Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality waxing services to our clients, including hair removal from various body parts. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment and ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality waxing services, including hair removal from various body parts
• Consult with clients to understand their hair removal needs and preferences
• Educate clients on the different waxing services available
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized
• Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate records
• Promote and sell retail products to clients
• Stay up-to-date with the latest waxing techniques and trends
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments
• Maintain knowledge of health and safety regulations in the waxing industry
Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized esthetics program
• Valid state license to practice as a Wax Specialist
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for waxing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Knowledge of waxing products and their uses
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity to perform intricate waxing treatments
